A gorgeous vanity set that has not been used. It comprises of a "Convertible " powder compact & matching " Lipview " (lipstick holder with a built in mirror). Both items bear patent numbers and they are signed " Stratton MADE IN ENGLAND". This brand is well known for reliability & also for the high quality of their accessories. These accessories are just like the day they were made. Even the original presentation box is in excellent condition. The box is signed " Stratton" & it is lined with beautiful yellow satin. The outer box is decorated with a white & gold pattern. Delightful accessories with all the quality you expect from this well known vintage brand. Both items have excellent mirrors. All clasps and hinges work perfectly. All the original features are present - felt pouch, silk and foam puff, velour edged sifter, instruction leaflet, inspection docket and lipstick dummy tube - they are all in superb unused condition.
This compact is suitable for use with modern loose & pressed/solid face powder or as a handbag mirror.
The lipstick holder will accommodate any size of lipstick.
